CCLM Community Grants

The Community Grants Program provides financial support to on- and off-post registered non-profit and community organizations serving active-duty and retired service members and their families on Joint Base Lewis-McChord and in surrounding communities.

Funding requests should reflect the true cost of the proposed project. Applications are evaluated based on clarity and alignment with project activities, not organizational size or existing resources. While award amounts vary, most grants range from $200 to $5,000.

Key Dates

  • Applications due: Friday, March 27, 2026 at 11:59 PM

  • Notifications sent: Early May 2026

  • Funds distributed: No later than May 15, 2026

Eligibility & Funding Guidelines

  • Grants cannot be awarded to SFRGs

  • Grants cannot be used for general or ongoing operating expenses

  • Payments cannot be made to individuals. Requests for individual projects (such as classroom supplies) must be payable to a school, district, or eligible organization.

Any omission of required information may result in an application being delayed or denied.
